This year we’ve been working closely with the Greater Innovation for Smarter Materials Optimisation (GISMO) innovation programme. They are experts in the Materials Science Institute at Lancaster University and are helping us to develop our materials, ideas and products.
GISMO provides cutting-edge ideas and solutions to put businesses in Cheshire and Warrington ahead of the curve in the use, design and manufacture of materials.
We are working with GISMO to look at innovative ways to model, rapid prototype and produce components for the ShoreTrench® products. This partnership could bring huge improvements to the way we develop our products. It feels like being at the cutting edge of materials science rather than using traditional civil engineering methods and materials.
